NARRATIVE IN IMAGE.
As featured in
Vogue Germany Oct 2007.
I love this image, I think it is just so engaging and would love to see it huge!!! Lifesize!
And within it there must be some kind of narrative thoug I’m not entirely sure what of. She is running away, or doesn’t belong there, he s a servant, a lover a husband… they are on holiday at Butlin’s camber back in 1808 I really don’t know.
However this is arresting in the sense it stimulate s the desire in me to hop into the car and whisk myself down to the beach for a walk at low tide… especially in as much flappy clothing as possible, I’d be happy with just a few metres of fabric wrapped around me!
Anyway, when I’ve summond the balls to do it I’ll put the images up on here. In the meantime…
Enjoy,
Nx
She’s mourning the death of her husband and has gone to the sea for her health. Her son doesn’t understand where Daddy has gone. Jeeves wants to bone his mistress (but won’t (he knows his place)).
Interesting fact: That’s Leonard Bast’s umbrella. Girly.
